ESCALE
L'Escale event in Sète is controlled from the outset by a seafarers association of 400 brave volunteers. They are the soul of Escale à Sète.
This exciting project is built and grows with the accession of the whole population and the maritime world, the participation of associations, public institutions, private partners and all media.
Through them all, this international event has become the leading event dedicated to the maritime heritage of the Mediterranean, bringing together over 300 000 visitors around 120 traditional boats, nearly 1,000 genuine stakeholders and the presence of several National Marines.
In 2018 our event dedicated to the transmission of knowledge to all, got the French patronage of UNESCO, the French and US labels Mission Centenary of the First World War and the label European Heritage Year
